John Brennan, President Obama’s nominee for C.I.A. director, faced off with the Senate in a Confirmation Hearing Thursday, in an attempt to shed some new light on Revelations about the targeted Drone killings of U.S. citizens overseas.

The hearing is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.

Lawmakers had pressed the White House to provide more information on the administration's legal justifications for using armed drone strikes to target Americans abroad suspected of terrorist activity.

The White House agreed to brief lawmakers after some senators suggested they might block Brennan's nomination until they received more information.

Brennan, currently Obama's top counterterrorism adviser, faces opposition from some GOP lawmakers, but disclosures about the administration's drone policy have sparked anger among liberals as well.

After a massive public out cry of disappointment from the consumer market over how firearm retailer's "Cheaper than Dirt"  responds to Big Government pressure by stopping sales, plans to resume sales in mass email to subscribers to their site today.

We told you that Rep. Steve Stockman would be the most aggressive defender of our gun rights on Capitol Hill. He proved us right on Thursday, when he introduced the Very First pro-gun bill in the Congress, in the face of a tidal wave of anti-gun hysteria. Congressman Steve Stockman has introduced H.R. 35, the Safe Schools Act of 2013 -- a bill to allow principals, teachers, and staff to possess firearms in order to defend their students. Before 1996, American kindergartners didn’t have to fear that if a crazed gunman burst into their classroom, they would be nothing but sitting ducks. Before then, they didn’t have to worry that federal law openly advertised that there would be no one to protect them. “In the 22 years before enactment of ‘gun free school zones,’ there were two mass school shootings,” Stockman said. “In the 22 years since enactment of ‘gun free schools,’ there have been 10 mass school shootings. “Not only has that bill utterly failed to protect our children, it appears to have placed them in danger,” said Stockman. Indeed, it has. Within a couple of years of the reenactment of the Gun Free School Zones Act, the Columbine tragedy occurred. And the series of copycat school massacres has shocked and saddened our country ever since. Clearly, the gun ban is not working. And it’s past time to try a new approach. It’s time to go on the offensive! It’s time to repeal gun control, rather than talk about “enforcing the gun laws on the books.”

That's Totally Jacked: New US Tax Policies

Doing some research again, I stumbled across this little Gem: ask yourself which one of these countries sounds more Communist?

Perhaps most shocking is increase in dividend tax rates, set to rise from 15% to as high as 43.4%. Individuals who start productive businesses are being heavily penalized. Individuals who save their money and put it to work investing in other people’s businesses are being heavily penalized. This says a lot about government values.

Ironically, the new government of the People’s Republic of China has decided the REDUCE their tax on dividends. Years ago it was 20%, then dropped to 10% in 2005. Effective January 1st, though, the dividend tax rate in China will drop to a mere 5%.

Freedom TV: For all of those who still think to question things, makes for conspiracy

You used to be branded a "nut-job, whacko or at the very least a "conspiracy theorist" almost completely losing any credibility for your research in the public eye for questioning anything from the Government. Especially if it was anything like the OFFICIAL STORY. For the most part, until recently, people didn't speak up or debate any possibility coverup mostly for fear of big brother's retaliation, being it; persecution, character deformation on mass media levels, or charged with something crazy being a traitor or God forbid the other big "T" word because even as american citizens we can be detained over it, indefinitely, without any charges revealed just under a hunch you might be.
Don't buy it, GOOD, I never expected anyone to take my word for, the point of all this, GO FIND OUT for yourself.  Just look up great reads the Patriot Act and Homeland Security (Don't forget to Google: Hitler, father of homeland security?).
      Until just recently, people never spoke up, at least not publicly anyway.  In light of all of the compounding bill of rights violations, seeing now attacking of the 2nd amendment (search for yourself). Has spawned underground media outlets like talk radio an online podcasts/webcasts etc. and thanks to investigative journalists and their shows (Clyde and Ground Zero, Sean Hannity [www.hannity.com] support from Local News Radio, YouTube, podcasts, you name it, has birthed a new Network; Internet TV Channel The Blaze ( http://www.video.theblaze.com/index.jsp) including news personality Glen Beck. There is a growing voice.

We are the land of the free and home of the brave.

The day after the US government and media exploit the Sandy Hill tragedy  10+ Million guns sold in new record for sales in US for December 2012. The previous record was roughly 5 million a few years back.

The growing tension come to a head today, as single day numbers in gun sales shatters the old record sales day by Two-fold.

As a result, multiple states introducing "forced gun buy back".
